It’s with a very heavy heart that I’m announcing some major changes here at Murder She Writes.
Anyone who has been involved with a blog knows how difficult it is to keep the community active and growing, particularly when the bloggers have full-time jobs (for us, writing) and families and deadlines. We’ve had some ups and downs over the eight years MSW has been active. We launched in November of 2005, and I believe we’re one of, if not the, longest group author blog out there.
But we’ve been talking a lot over the last couple of months and decided that most of us couldn’t re-commit for the coming year. As a result, MSW will no longer be a group blog.
However, I am one of the last two remaining original members of MSW (along with Karin). I don’t want to give up the blog. With Karin’s blessing, I’m taking over the reigns of Murder She Writes and will relaunch it on January 6th. It will still be Murder She Writes, only the “She” will be, essentially, me and the occasional guest. And all the MSW gals have agreed to guest blog at least once in the coming year, if not more! Plus, I’m extending invitations to all past MSW bloggers to join me once or twice this year to get us all up to speed about what they’ve been doing.
