That is probably one reason why I don’t understand women and the humanly impossible shoes they chose to wear.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the really cool high, high heels. They’re works of art. But there is no way I could force my feet into them. As if I could walk if I did!
There have been heels in my past, cute little navy and white ones that just wouldn’t let me leave the store without them. Unfortunately, I haven’t worn them for more than a few minutes before I’d kicked them off. (My feet thought I must have been drinking when I bought those heels.)
I also used to wear platform heels. I loved being so tall! The problem was that if I forgot what shoes I had on and I went into a bathroom stall…Being five inches taller changes things. Uh huh.
I know I sound like wuss. I am. I’m just not into pain. I love comfortable shoes, which keep my feet pretty much flat on the ground. Give me a pair of sneakers, Birkenstocks or Merrell sandals and I’m pretty happy. I’m even happier barefoot.
