It’s release day! COLBY LAW, the first in the Colby Texas trilogy, hits the shelves today. This is #48 in the Colby Agency series! Number #50, which comes in July, will include a companion guide for the series. I am so excited about the companion guide! Folks have been asking for a guide for ages!  COLBY LAW features Colby investigator Lyle McCaleb and tough-as-nails Texas cowgirl Sadie Gilmore.

My husband and I lived in Copperas Cove, Texas, when he was in the US Army and assigned to Ft. Hood. This was my first time living away from small town Alabama and the folks in Texas made me feel right at home. I’ve loved Texas ever since and I have occasionally set a book there (like DIRTY, the first in my Jackie Mercer series). When the time came to open a new branch of the Colby Agency, Texas made perfect sense. Simon Ruhl and his family have relocated to Texas to head the new office.  Not to worry, the Chicago office is still running full steam with Jim Colby and Ian Michaels at the helm. Victoria and Lucas spend time in both locations but mainly they’re spending more time doing things together these days.
