The day has always been lucky for me, strangely enough, even though in odd ways. For years, I would hear from long-lost friends on Friday the 13th -- either by letter (Yes, back in the days when we actually wrote on paper, put a stamp on an envelope and let USPS wend it's magical way) or by phone (back before caller ID and when I still answered the phone from unknown numbers - lol). Thank you for reminding me it was coming up. I'm in Florida this week, rather than home, so my days are all discombobulated. I love Friday the 13th. We start Oct 23rd with the girls, then Halloween, then son, hubby (and uncle Peter); then Thanksgiving ... when they were little, I never got out of the kitchen. But since I had to do birthday shopping in October, I did all the holiday shopping then too so I was usually done before Thanksgiving. My family -- we fill the February calendar. Our birthdays come in a clump. We start Oct 23rd with the girls, then Halloween, then son, hubby (and uncle Peter); then Thanksgiving … when they were little, I never got out of the kitchen. But since I had to do birthday shopping in October, I did all the holiday shopping then too so I was usually done before Thanksgiving.

I'm lucky to know what day of the week it is; forget attaching a number to it. It's Wednesday today, right? Please tell me it's only Wednesday. And with son's birthday on the 14th and hubby's on the 16th, I think I'd better move into the real world for a bit and start hooking numbers to days. Heather, you scared me.
