I admire Farrah so much. She lived a life she thought was best for her, even if it included quitting Charlie's Angels, the most popular show at the time. She was courageous up to the end.

As for MJ, I admire his talent. Like everyone else, I hope he's at peace.

Patricia, by all accounts, MJ was painfully shy. amazing how he could transform on stage. i've been watching so many video clips over the last day and night, and I am even more amazed by his talent.
such a sad loss. but yanno what? i think he was a lot more tortured than we knew, and finally, i think he is at rest.

It took a lot of courage for Farrah to let the world view her struggle at the end. I think that will be her legacy.
Michael Jackson was in a way a victim. He never really had a childhood and in a way never grew up. The Peter Pan analogy really does fit. I don't think he was ever comfortable with himself and who he was. He was trying to create a world he could exist in and it wasn't possible. He was a true talent with incredible musical ability. I'll choose to remember him as the handsome young man he was in the mid 80's when he was doing Thriller and Billy Jean.

Erika, my daughter and i just came back from lunch, and we were talking about Michael, his life his death. And we both are of the opinion, that he was grossly taken advantage of, not only by strangers, but by his employees, perhaps some family members, and most definitely by those whom he tried to help. I'm not saying there isn't the possibility he did some things that were in poor taste, but he has never struck me as a deviant. Call me naive but I don't think it was in his nature to hurt, whether intentional or not.

I feel more sad today than I did yesterday.

Lee, Michael was hawt until he started messing with his face. the last few nose jobs were really bad. no wonder he wore the mask. :( i wonder why any doctor would work on him? to say Michael Jackson was his patient? but then, they aren't legally allowed to do that, confidentiality and all. sigh.

Shannon, i keep thinking of farrah's son redmond and what this will do to his already shaking willpower. how sad for her to die knowing her only child, a child she adored, was in jail.

as for michael's family, as disjointed as they are, they have always supported each other. I really feel for them. his death is such a loss, for all of us.
