Ok, so when did what we used to wear as “normal” dress become a COSTUME??? We had a number of kids who showed up dressed as what I’m sure they considered “hippies” but that’s how we dressed in the 60′s. At the time, those were clothes, not costumes

I am SO OLD.

(Got pix of d-i-l and grandson in their ‘tree and tree-frog’ costumes. Wish I could have been there to see them in person.)

It appears there is only one true writer in the house and I yeild to her. I’m coaching full time, preparing to open a third camp in Oklahoma next summer and trying to join the football clinic circuit as a speaker. See, I’m busy! Welcome back to the fold lady!

I’ll be passing out candy to the merry munchkins. I love seeing the little ones, with big eyes, and so excited to get free candy.

A poem! And it’s not even Christmas. Amazing as always.

My hub will take around the munchkins while I hand out the candy and get to see all the little costumes. That’s my favorite part. I like the theme families. I know of a family of 5 that is doing all Star Wars costumes. The two-year-old is Yoda.

I wish my kids would do that, but my girls can’t agree on anything.

I will be sitting with my laptop (or maybe a good book) in front of the fireplace tonight, listening for the doorbell (although I am not sure I need it with my puppy who has just recenly learned that he can bark and is too cute because I think he scares himself when he does) and handing out candy.

I have learned not to by the candy that I like (which means that I dont give out chocolate – but rather other forms of pure suger like pixi sticks and pop caps) or I have to turn away all the cute kids who stop by.

Holly when I was growing up, the night before Halloween was moving night. It was the only time of year when I was bad.

Honey, there is no Roxi here, there is however a very nice writer named Roxanne who we lovingly call Rocki.

LaD, how fun to have a little goblin! Wah, I want a grandchild And winter stew sounds really good right now. It’s cold an rainy here.
