Karin, you did have a great weekend! I really get your pride in your amazing daughter. They really are worth all the worry and sleepless nights, huh?

And, yeah, I’m feeling better. Should be good as knew in a week or so. Unless I do it again…

My daughter had another bridal shower this weekend so I went to that and had a blast. This one was all of her girlfriends. and OMG! They are a kick. I smiled the entire day, and as the day wound down I looked around at all of the smiling bright faces and then looked at my daughter who was radiant. If she was to be measured as a person by her friends she is a true Queen. I was very proud of her and the people she surrounds herself with.

I used to fall down stairs on a regular basis and I’m sure it knocked a few billion brain cells loose. I’m a little more cautious these days but still manage to slide on our wooden floors and bash into walls every so often. Just for fun, as my dh would say.

Amanda, thanks. I’m a klutz, but I don’t usually fall or slip like that. Even my hsuband was surprised. Your daugher’s answer, “Yes, it’s just the wall, I think it moved again.” is priceless! Now that’s usually me! I get so busy I run into walls and furniture.

Elaine, I’m so sorry about your mom. It’s indescribably hard. I hope your mom isn’t in pain. And glad ou had a somewhat relaxing weekend, although you did cover a lot of miles!
