Oh mi gosh I am so excited I thought it was going to be 2007 for W&S in paperback. Behind Closed Doors is so excellent a book people will eat it up and beg for more, and more...which brings me to a certain little dance teacher... I'm trying to wait patiently...really patient...you know me...patience is my only virture...really patience.

It is not snowing - rarely snows on my part of the Oregon Coast - and never enough to keep me from work...oh that's right NOTHING STOPS RADIO...but it is 33 degrees...which is why I slipped at work Monday night and dislocated (very temporarily) my hip, which immediately popped right back in (oh son of a bun hugger that hurt worse than the popping out.) I laid on the ice laughing, because it hurt so darn bad, wondering if I should call my hubby. Nah, why would I do that, I could scream for the OSP across the street and that new cute rookie could rescue me. But then I'd be fodder over coffee and donuts through out Florence for the next three weeks. So I waited 10 minutes of the pain to ease, picked up my three inch heels, threw them at the back of my pick up and drove home. Hobbled in my stocking feet to the front door, and now have to deal with my hubby asking every three minutes if I'm okay. So the question is (I'm fine - how long should I milk this?) And if I do milk it will it get a certain dance teacher written any quicker....because I, oh, wow, I think I'm gonna expire...oh poor me... Natalie?....Natalie? Are you there dear?

What do you mean you know I'm faking it?

Great news, Natalie! I'm so excited for you. Both WIVES AND SISTERS, and BEHIND CLOSED DOORS are fabulous, fast paced, intriguing books. And very different from one another which is so hard to do.

I've only heard bits and pieces of your new story idea. You know I'll be nagging you for more info!!!!

Hey! I thought we plotted 'er brainstormed your next book?
Speaking of snow, none in sight here. It was clear and cold here in Nor Cal today, 58 this afternoon with a windchill of about 52. I hated going outside in *that*!
